Wow! That is crazy! I was feeling sorry for myself that Damon got called into the Branch Presidency a few weeks ago, but Bishop is like the real deal! I'm sure he'll do great, too! You're the Bishop's wife! You guys are awesome.

Holy Crap! Well all I can say is that knowing you, you'll make it look easy! :) I'll remember you guys in my prayers tonight. Good luck!

Whoa Ann.. I just saw your post.... Dang girls. Good luck with all that! I know you guys are awesome, so you'll be totally fine. The Lord really takes care of the families of the Bishops. Our Bishop was put in when he was 33. He's only a couple of years older than James. He's amazing and his wife has four boys (youngest 1) and she's amazing and always talks about how much help the Lord has given her throughout the whole thing.

Wow, what a fun adventure! Along with the craziness also comes amazing blessings. Bishop is definately a heavy load to carry but it is also amazing how the Lord really does make us strong enough, personally and as a family, to carry it. He also makes us distinctly more aware of the blessings he is pouring out than the effort we are putting in. I am excited for you all. What an exemplary family! Our prayers are with you!!!

Holy Cow! That is crazy! And really neat, too! He'll be an amazing Bishop because he has such an amazing wife. I really believe that is why most men are called to positions with such extensive time commitments: because they have really fantastic wives who will be extremely supportive and understanding and who can hold down the fort without them. Good luck and we'll be praying for you guys! By the way, are we really that old that we can have bishops and branch presidency counselors in our midst? Yikes.

Wow! If Ken got that calling I think my first thought would be, "Is he old enough?" I can't believe you will be the Bishop's wife. My prayers will definitely be with you as you deal with 4 little ones, residency, and now the demands of having a husband who is a bishop. You always handle things so well. You will be amazing.

Rachel I was pretty surprised when Jeremy told me, just with all the time involved, but its crazy, often when you look back you see how your family was being prepared for this calling.
Ann that is crazy for you as well. You know I thought we were young for these types of callings but I guess we are getting older, dangit. Congratulations you guys.
