Beggar's Night

So in this part of Ohio they have Beggar's Night on the 30th from 6-8pm. I haven't ever heard of beggar's night. What happened to trick or treating? Well needless to say it was the same. The kidos were most pleased to go out and get lots of candy. Thank goodness because chocolate has been my friend this week! :)

Beggar's Night? That is hilarious! Do they still also go trick-or-treating on Halloween or do they just completely do their own thing??

we didn't have any activities on Halloween. The neighbor said that they do it on different nights so that the police can be present in the different neighborhoods. That is fine with me...but it was a little wierd to do it the night before. Nobody came to our house on Halloween. So beggar's night it is...
